Meetings
Everyone must attend all of the scheduled NHS meetings. Please be aware of when we have these meetings; we will typically remind you multiple times through an announcement on Sandalwood Teams, our website, and/or Instagram page. General member meetings will always be scheduled on every 3rd Thursday of each month. Therefore, using the excuse that you "forgot about it" or "didn't know" will not pass.
Members are allowed only 2 meeting absences per semester; please choose them wisely. If unable to attend, please email Mrs. Copley AND the Sandalwood NHS email 24 hours in advance (or more) with a valid reason. If you let us know on the day of the meeting that you cannot attend, you will not be excused.
Member Responsibilities
While the NHS officers have records of your hours and events, it is also your responsibility to keep track of them.
We highly encourage members to stay electronically connected with NHS to receive updates on events, meetings, important info, etc.
When reaching out, our officers may be busy with other tasks, so please do not hesitate to send a follow-up email reminding us of your request.
Feel free to reach out to the officers personally if you have another way of contacting them as well.
